    Default This Hawks team reminds me of that 2008 Hornets team.

    Remember that team? No real superstar player besides Chris Paul. They had Tyson Chandler, David West, Peja, Chris Paul. They were great in the regular season and very fun to watch but didn't do well in the playoffs at all.

    Atlanta needs a superstar player if they want to go all the way. The only team that was able to win without a legit superstar is the 2004 Detroit Pistons. Atlanta has a bunch of good players but not a superstar.

    The Hornets didn't even get to the conference finals.

    But the Horents played in the west. Do you think the Hawks make it past the first round in the west? That Hornets team would be as good as Atlanta in the east.

    Chris Paul wasn't really Chris Paul back then. He was good but not a superstar yet. This Atlanta team is pretty much built the same way.

    Jeff Teague = Chris Paul
    Kyle Korver = Peja
    Horford = Tyson Chandler
    Milsap = David West

    They remind me more of the 08 and 09 Utah Jazz. 2nd Tier guard Deron vs Teague, 2nd tier forward Boozer vs Horford. Euro Center Fasenko vs Hawks Euro Cente Pero Antic. They both had the choker Kyle Korver.

    Do the Hawks even have anyone who can create his own shot? Just a team of random gun shy role players.

    Jeff Teague = Chris Paul

    2008 was arguably CP3's Peak Season.

    That Hornets team would smoke this Hawks team and they would get to the finals if they played in today's east.
