I had one bad experience in middle school that sorta made me less confident talking to girls. Like now I'm too worried about coming off as creepy that I start conversations less. Also I don't smile as often cause my smiles can be kinda creepy.

This will break any awkward ice & will most likely make her laugh. She'll see that your not afraid to poke fun at yourself & it's a good way to show off your sense of humor

Don't ever mention how awkward a situation is. Worst ice-breaker, once you say something is awkward, it becomes apparant that everything is actually awkward. But making fun of yourself on purpose = best ice-breaker for sure.

she will answer however she wants, and then you reply with a comment about your day, and then make a funny comment about something goofy your teacher does. (she will instantly relate and laugh)
