How many guards/wings shot 50% and scored 20+ in 80's/90's

I remember somebody posted the stat back in the day 80's/90's compared to 2000's to now. 80's/90's had like 40+ players who it, with like 4-5 players doing it post 2000.

How can I find this stat.

Damn, look how much easier it is to score now. Freaking handchecking in the 80's and 90's! Don't people know that handchecking is basically an unstoppable wall that doesn't let you score at all?

Basically basketball was better, both defense and offense. It was more akin to international ball today where you have to run well designed plays against well designed defensive sets.

Post Jordan, A.I etce basketball has changed a little. As Hubie says, you don't need to run good shit anymore. Just give it to Wade or Rose and they'll get to the rim or go to the line. It's not really a case of better or worse, but it's a whole generational cultural thing that, along with the protective rules that have made this the easiest period to get to the rim.

Garbage defenses schemes compared to now, and the players were a lot less fit/athletic overall...so it was a lot easier for the higher end players to get their points etc.

Thats why I don't believe in GOATS for anything other than their own era, how can you say a player who was the best 20 years ago, is better that the player who is the best today, when so much has changed, and the stats were so different.

Yes you can see certain players were the best in the 80s 90s 00s etc, but not when they plays 2-3 decades apart.

The worst things to happen to basketball are:
-removing handchecking
-5 second back to the basket rule
-allowing zone defense

These changes have made the league weaker, and less skill based. Now it's about junk defenses and barreling into defenders to shoot FTs

I think allowing Zone was neccessary. It's just a form of defence, I don't see how anyone could rationally argue that a whole form of defence is prohibited?

Defensive three second is BS too.

Teams playing 1-2-2 zone would change the league in a good way.

well this isnt tennis where season starts 1/1 and ends in i dont know in october/november, its basketball, and everybody considers bulls team of the 90s and pistons late 80s so
