Default Don't get your hopes up...

If there's one thing that's certain about Mr. Kobe "Bean" Bryant, it's that he never takes NO for an answer. He didn't retire when he RUPTURED his achilles, he didn't retire when he broke his knee 6 games into his return from his ruptured achilles.

You think a TORN rotator cuff is going to be how he WANTS to go out? Hell no. And knowing how the Lakers operate, this is going to be masked as a serious injury that's supposed to be "season ending", but he didn't injure it in a freak way or in a bad way, he had that injury all season and he just aggravated it a little further than before, but it's not like he blew his knee out or broke his leg.... It's like y'all forgot about last season, when he broke a bone in his knee that is supposed to be 6-8 weeks max to recover from, but they also shut him down for the year to ensue their tank. Dude's going to be working out and getting his body in better shape for the next 9 months while the FO "tries" to put together a competitive roster for his contract year.

He's not going to walk away from 25 mil, he's not going to have his final career moment be a torn rotator cuff on the road against the shitty Pelicans out of all teams, that's way too anti-climatic for someone of Kobe's stature. For all we know, this story could all be a bunch of bs made up for all the season ticket holders and fans to mask the fact that they are going to tank shamelessly to get as high of a pick as possible. It's very convenient how after all the talks about shutting Kobe down, all of a sudden his shoulder feels bad after a routine dunk, yet continues to play in the 4th quarter? If it was such a serious injury, dude would have been off first thing.

So, have fun talking shit about the guy while he's off the court, but be ready to eat your words come next season. Kobe Bryant WILL come back, and probably look much better than he did this season.

    You have been warned.

Doesn't matter. No matter how much kobe wants to succeed the lakers management will not put him in a position to win.

Watch them trade away every contributing player and end up with a 20-62 record.
