kareem is arguable goat with 2 finals mvps and 6 rings

nobody argues magic/duncan/shaq ahead of him

people just know who the better player was and can tell when its a co lead ring

kobe has 2 co lead/2 ultimate lead dog/1 sidekick with 2 finals L's and no ring chasing, no colluding, no finals bail outs, no suspensions, no lockouts

lebron has 3 lead dog and 6 finals L's with 2 bail outs, 2 collusions, twice ring chasing, 1 suspension and 1 lockout

all in all i give kobe credit for 4.5 rings ( -0.5 for one )

    lebron 1.5 rings tops ( -0.5 for all 3 )

nobody knocks kareems 1987 or 1988 rings and he was basically 2000 kobe by then

yet he has a full 6 rings to everyone

you're lucky i give kobe any deduction whatsoever

    4 is more than 3

co-lead are as good as lead dog

only kyrie irving has a higher finals average as 2nd option in history than 2 of kobes rings

29ppg and 27ppg in the 2001 and 2002 playoffs is a full ring whether you like it or not

you sir are the one whos trying to convince yourself of a lie

if i can give context to one of kobes rings and lebron fans can't give any context to any of his 3... then who exactly is lieing to themselves

Agreed. James Harden has surpassed Lebron in empty stats.

    “Co-lead dog”

No one in their right mind thinks Kobe was equal to Shaq.

Kobe was getting eviscerated by Allen Iverson (before they took him off Iverson from what I hear. Guess Phil got tired of watching AI light Kobe up like a Christmas tree) and shut down by the Sixers no name role players while Shaq was sodomizing DPOY Mutombo. But yeah. “Co lead dog” doeeeeeee

That's an insult to Kobe, especially '88 Kareem, dude was a 14 ppg role player

any way you look at it

    without context 5 > 3

    with context 4.5 > 1.5

either dissect both players rings or don't dissect either. you can't use context for just one guy

you're moving the goal posts to fit your agenda

Kenny with his made up numbers.

    The real numbers are

LeBron FMVPS/rings as best player on his team: 3

Kobe FMVPS/rings as best player on his team: 2

    This is literally a fact.

I know it hurts Kenny but it’s true.

i'm willing to go above and beyond

shit.. throw away kobes 2000 ring all together. i don't care

even though he averaged 19ppg in the finals while playing and people wanna say 19ppg by gasol was some co lead shit

he only saved the season twice ( once vs portland and again vs indiana )

    but you can have it

take that ring and huck it in the dumpster

i got 4 others without ring chasing, colluding, suspensions, lockouts, bail outs to throw at these morons

as the 1st option (alpha dog) Kobe only has 2 rings 2.5 at most if i'm being generous

I don't know where you go 4.5 from

Why does Kenny keep talking about Shaq’s accomplishments as part of Kobe’s legacy?
