The KEY REASON myself and many pick MJ over Bron peak wise is because MJ was the ULTIMATE KILLER. Plus MJ was a better man to man defender. And let's face it, MJ was the TOTAL PACKAGE as well! Could play or defend PG, SG, and SF at great levels. Was legit great at scoring, passing, and rebounding his position. Put up 30-8-8 season like Bron has been know for putting up. If Pippen DIDN'T evolve, MJ would have had MORE 30-8-8 seasons!

So if people think the best ALL AROUND player on both sides is the best player ever peak-prime wise, then SURE Bron is the best player of all time. But MJ BEFORE BRON was the best all around player EVER when u considered both sides of the court. AND considered by many the best player ever peak-prime wise in general. So MJ HELD both crowns. BUT all around wise, Bron has taken that crown. MJ was able to pass Bird and Magic by because of his huge edge in freak athletic ability and defense. With Bron, he doesn't have those huge advantages.
