8 seasons in and Love still hasn't learned how to Post Up
Did you think he would go this long without improving his game when he was drafted back in 2008?

Love has been at the top of the league in post efficiency multiple times. He has a great post game. Shut the **** up.

post stats sorted for players with 100+ possessions.
Love is 6th in the league in Points Per Possession, and 3nd among big men. His volume wasn't that high compared to his previous seasons, because he posts up in the same spot Bron does. His stats are bouyed because of his extremely low turnover% from the post.

He had the 16th most post ups last season. The only person with better efficiency AND volume is Jonas Valanciunus
He would have had more if he wasn't spacing the floor for LeBron all season He increased the % of his shots that came from 3 by about the same amount as he decreased his shots close to the rim. He was a high volume post player the few seasons before coming to the Cavs.
You are wrong.

While he's not Dmo in post ups he's still decent. Thing is cavs don't really need him to do it. They need him to rebound and shoot to space the floor.

This video is 2 years old. If it was a person, it would already be smarter than Dubeta

Typical b*tchass LeBron Stanley, severely underrating LeBron's help in order to prop up their boy.
Kevin Loves postgame >>>>>>>>> Horrace Grant or Dennis Rodman's postgames (which were virtually non existent).

So you just admitted that Love has a worse post game than Valanciunus who's not even a top 20 big man in the league?
You're making my point for me lmao

he doesn't have to be a top-20 big man (which he will be btw) to have a top post game.
Of the top-15 players in terms of touches, Valanciunas has the highest efficiency. Dwight (by far) has the lowest.
Love posted up about as much as Duncan and Dirk last season, and slightly more then DMO. If he wasn't playing with Bron, he would have been top-10 in possessions and top-5 in efficiency for big men.
Love and Dirk were the only 2 good (and frequent) 3 point shooters in the top of the post-up frequency list.
You've been rekt. Gtfo.
Btw, Valanciunas took half his shots at the rim last season and hit on 67% of them. He had a 62 TS%. 121 ORTG. Shot almost 40% from midrange. 12 Rbd/36
He'll be an all-star soon.
