Is Kendrick Perkins the worst starting center in the league?

The dude gets paid 9 million a year to put up stat sheets such as 2 pts 7 rebounds and 3 TOS. This is actually a high rebound game for him. Before anyone comes in to talk about how he provides defense, Gasol shitted on him for 20 / 10. I honestly would try BJ Mullens right now instead of Perkins.

But man, I get droves of Thunder fans who talk my ear off about how much we need Perkins for teams like Memphis and how he gives us so much toughness. The only thing Perkins provides on a regular basis is laughable offensive plays and turnovers.

2) being OKC's enforcer
3) setting extremely effective moving screens (thanks KG)

To be fair, his basic stats sucks as much as his advanced stats

As much hate as Perkins gets for being useless on offense and defense, he does all things above very well making his impact in a game very hard to notice.

He isn't the right player to have next to someone like Ibaka, but I think Perkins is a decent C in this league. OKC isn't a bad franchise, they know the good things Perkins does and that is why he has been with the team and gets solid minutes every night.
