It's somewhat possible that I wasn't being entirely sincere.

I rather have Chris Andersen right now. He has a better work ethic and better team player than Dumblambert.

You cannot be serious...
Also about the Lakers. Didn't you notice that the key players were missing or playing injured most of the year? Also they don't have good enough role players that can play the key player positions? This team is not stacked like the Heat bro.

As a fan I would respect a player who would take less money to win/ring-chase then someone who is only looking for a big payday.

Re: You can add another name to the "ring chasing veterans" list
Honestly, does anyone even care if some scrub like Dalembert chases a ring? He's never been significant or been a integral part of a team that came close, has he? Even if he got a ring, it wouldn't be because he contributed much.

Re: You can add another name to the "ring chasing veterans" list
I just don't get the outrage with "ring chasing."
The alternative is what, getting the most money you can possibly get?
Is there any player that ever took less money to play for a non-contender? Probably not.
That's usually what free agents do. Either take the most money that's offered, or take less to be in a better situation to win a title. So, to a cynic, every free agent is either greedy or is a "ring chaser."
Free agents either prioritize money or winning. Simple as that.
