There are a few ways this realistically happens:
1. They get the 4th seed.
2. They get the 1st seed.
3. OKC drops back to the 4/5
If they have to go through OKC and GSW then it is going to be really tough. Anyone think the Spurs have a chance of avoiding a second round GSW matchup?

Play a crap team like utah or phx
Play a declining fake team like clippers or grizzlies
Play a tired okc or spurs.
Play a tired team from a tough eastern conference.

Getting the #1 seed out West is important. That would probably mean Utah/Dallas/Memphis in the 1st, Clippers/Rockets in the 2nd, and winner of Spurs/Thunder in the WCF. Hardly and easy path, but definitely manageable.
