How would there be any difference- it's just the WCF outcome would be the finals outcome, except when he would lose in 04 in ECF
Also he'd probably lose more in the finals because the ECF is so weak
Still 5 rings, with more finals appearances and more losses

we have to consider the fact that upsets happen. and a free pass to the finals every year would mean beating better teams atleast 2 out of 6 times
so
1999 - finals
2000 - finals ( win )
2001 - finals ( win )
2002 - finals ( win )
2003 - finals
2004 - finals
2006 - ECF
2007 - 2nd round
2008 - finals
2009 - finals ( win )
2010 - finals ( win )
2011 - finals
2012 - finals
we'd have to assume kobe would have made 11 finals.
and we'd also have to assume he lucks out atleast 2 of 99/03/04/08/11/12
giving him 7 titles
