The playoffs have always had a knack for exposing frauds. At least the refs are still being overly generous to him still.

I have a hard time calling the guy a fraud because he's widely considered one of the best players in the league, but his playoff numbers are just embarrassing at this point.

He's saving his energy for the finals.

As annoying as Rockets' fans are, Harden is doing an extremely good job getting to the line and earned most of his freethrows.

No shame, Mavs backcourt of Felton Barea and Monta is a defensive juggernaut

It's pretty much the saving grace to his game in the playoffs. He's a great FT shooter and is great at getting to the line. It's amazing to see a guy to have 32.1% FG, 22% from 3, yet have a 58.3% TS. So he is still efficient in terms of scoring, lol. He is averaging 14 FGA yet averaging 24 ppg. 15 FTA tho.
James Harden style is the definition of analytic ball in basketball.
Anyway, this guy has been a stinker from the field ever since he left OKC. What's up with him? Despite his horrible FG, he has played better than he did last year so far. He is playing more under control with less hero ball. He is getting the line more and is able to do his thing.

Not speaking of any of his performances in other series, but for Dallas specifically, he never does "well" against them (at least not by his scoring standards). Carlisle's game plan during all the contests this year has been to bend the defense towards him and force him to be a passer and make the other guys shooters. If you watch the playoff/reg season games, there are a ton of open shots for Ariza, Jones, Brewer, Smith, etc. and that's by design.
