Remember in 2005 when you said Rudy Fernandez was going to become the next great SG?

Its funny how Euroleague disses so many European players but the one Euro who truly shatted thy NBA bed is his fap fodder.

Greek clubs at the moment are in an enormous fight with the Greek federation. Because the federation refuses to pay insurance for the players.

If they continue to refuse to insure the players, then no one knows what kind of team Greece would have.

If that changes, then Greece can easily send a team that can beat Spain, USA, or anyone else.

    STOP TROLLING.

Other than the unsettled issue of the federation refusing to insure players (which would ban just about all of the best Greek players), the only top Greek player that has for sure said he will not play this summer is Stratos Perperoglou.

He plays at the wing position, and due to his refusing to play this summer, the coach of the team said that he will give Giannis Antetokounmpo a chance to make the team then.

    So,

    PG Vassilis Spanoulis/Nick Calathes
    SG Nikos Zisis/Giannis Antetokounmpo
    SF Kostas Papanikolaou/Thanasis Antetokounmpo
    PF Georgios Printezis/Kosta Koufos/Kostas Kaimakoglou
    C Ioannis Bourousis/Sofoklis Schortsanitis/Loukas Mavrokefalidis

That's just missing Perperoglou, who should be there instead of Giannis, but that's still enough to beat anyone.

A team with a 12 of something like that (if Spanoulis is able to play - he has a knee injury right now, but nothing has officially been announced yet about him not playing), with the new coach, Fotis Katsikaris, that is a much more able coach than Greece had in recent years, would EASILY be enough to compete with Spain, USA, or anyone else.

In fact, such a team would automatically be better than France (even with Parker), Lithuania, Serbia, Argentina (with all of their best players), Brazil etc.

So STFU moron. Such a team would be Spain's worst nightmare at the semifinals. And it's much better than any team Greece played with against USA before, and numerous times in the past, Greece gave USA trouble with lesser teams than that.

So piss off. You better hope like hell that the Greek federation does not pony up the money to insure the good Greek players, and that Spanoulis' knee is not healthy enough to play. Because they have plenty of players and a good coach now.

USA standard of living is one of the worst in the entire world. As far as western nations and industrialized nations go, it's by far the lowest.
