My list
1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Blake Griffin
4. Anthony Davis
5. Dirk Nowitzki
6. Carmelo Anthony
7. Kevin Love
8. Lamarcus Aldridge
9. Pau Gasol
10. Chris Bosh
HM: Al Horford, Kwahi Leonard, Greg Monroe, Serge Ibaka, Kenneth Faried, Paul Millsap, Jabari Parker, David Lee, Paul Pierce, Jeff Green
Probably nailed the top 10 but I'm not too convinced on Davis being top 5 yet. He has shown tremendous upside but if he can lead his team to the playoffs this year, most definitely top 5.
Crazy how Dirk is still considered by many as a top F in the league 16 years into his career. Insane longevity.
LMA trying to pattern his game after Dirk but takes too many unnecessary fadeaways when he should be driving-by or posting up his defender at times given his above average athleticism.

Because of age Dirk and Pau are my bets to miss the top 10 and Kwahi and Serge taking their spots.

Where would you put a healthy PG?

Re: Top 10 Forwards for 2014-15
Love is top 5. Some of the players being ranked above him wouldn't do sh!t on those teams either. Being luckier to play for a better team doesn't equal better.

Re: Top 10 Forwards for 2014-15
Prediction for 2014-2015:
1) LeBron James (stable stats, MVP season helped by a 20+ wins increase for his team)
2, or "1b") Kevin Durant (MVP confirmation season, with lower raw stats but an increasingly mature game)
3) Anthony Davis (breakout season, firmly establishes himself as the next in line)
4) Blake Griffin (stable)
5) Carmelo Anthony (comeback season, including in the winning column due to increased team focus and the Phil Jackson effect)
6) Kevin Love (lower stats but his rep will increase with his key playoff contributions)
7) LaMarcus Aldridge (lower numbers but still impressive)
8) Chris Bosh (comeback season on the raw statistical level, though not up to his Toronto years)
9) Dirk Nowitzki (starting his decline but still very productive and his team's leader, with contributions that go beyond the immediate stat sheet)
10) Pau Gasol (decline but still better than the other candidates, helped by the world cup and his move to a winning team)
Temporarily out: Paul George
Almost made it: Kawhi Leonard

Re: Top 10 Forwards for 2014-15
It's an interesting debate, trolling aside.
1a. Lebron
1b. Durant
3. Aldridge (based on last years's playoffs)
4. Griffin (Even though he had great games a few times, you can't really depend on him playing like a superstar constantly).
5. Davis (he's gonna have a great year, seems to have matured, gonna be a legit top 3 in the league in a few years, imo. Only downside is that he's playing with Tyreke and J'rue who need the ball constantly)
6. Has got to be Carmelo, for his offense alone. Didn't do too much last season, isn't much of a leader but he's capable of great offensive games. It counts that he had worthless team mates and coaches.
7a. Kevin "empty stats" Love. I guess we're gonna see how empty they really are this season. Obv, he's not gonna come close to last season's numbers but im curious about his impact on the team, mainly his rebounds, interior defense and bricking 3's (although in a team with Kyrie, Fatters and Lebron i wonder how many he'll get).
7b. Chris Bosh needs to prove he isn't the worthless cherry picker everyone thinks he is. Most plays will involve him around the rim and he'll avg more rebounds with Lebron gone. Spo needs to work on different plays.
9. Kawhi. What finals MVP doesnt belong on any top 10 list? This guy can do it all, to a point. Even though he's just a piece of a great system to some, this guy is a very solid player at a young age, who can only improve. Most people underrate him because he doesnt like the fancy, flashy life style or doesnt shoot 30 times/ game.
10. At 10, it's either Dirk or Faried for me. Dirk is old but can still bring it while Faried is all about the hustle.
Sigh, i forgot about Ibacka, who's up there with Bosh and Love imo but im too lazy to edit.
Looking forward to Pau on the Bulls.
