Kendrick is at the top of the game right now and he basically just dared everyone to come at him.

Solid verse but not even close to his best.

He snaps WAY harder on this:

Now THAT's a good verse from Kendrick. No one out can touch that.

All we have to go on is his word, but I wouldn't put it past him to slip in a lyric to address some of the things Kendrick said. It just seems too coincidental, and of course a rapper would never admit to pulling a "punk move". I'm not saying for sure that I know he edited the verse, but it does seem suspect.

All these NY rappers' styles sound so dated...Papoose, Cassidy, etc. that sound died a long time ago. Dinosaurs. Lupe's is the only one that was interesting. Top comment on Youtube for Lupe's song: "0:28- 0:57 mocking Rick Ross 0:57- 1:03 mocking Meek Millz 1:05-1:12 mocking B.O.B. style 1:13-1:27 mocking T.I. style 1:27-1:35 mocking Kanye style 1:37- 1:42 mocking Nicki Minaj 1:45-1:57 mocking Jay-Z style 1:57-2:20 mocking Drake style 2:20-2:40 mocking 2 Chainz style 2:40-2:55 mocking Lil Wayne style."
