Lebron: Biggest Choke Job In NBA History
LeBron James excels at basketball, there is no denying it, but the Finals choke job proved that he will never be an all-timer, legend, or “global icon.”
James averaged 26.7 points per game in the regular season, but just 17.8 in the Finals -- the largest discrepancy in history.
James’ problems in the fourth quarter of the series may be the worst collapse of all-time by a star of his caliber. The series started with much talk about James being better than Michael Jordan, you won’t hear anybody making those statements anymore. Scottie Pippen should have his mouth washed out with soap for making the “James is better than Jordan” comment.
Game 2, the Heat had a 13-point lead in the 4th quarter and looked unbeatable. But they put the ball in LeBron’s hands down the stretch and that comfortable cushion quickly evaporated and the Heat lost. In Game 3 it was the Dwyane Wade show. He put the Heat on his back and carried them to victory.
Think about it. The Miami Heat had a 2-1 lead in the series and would have been up 3-0, if they hadn’t surrendered a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter of game two. This was a choke job, there’s no other way to describe it. They couldn’t play in the fourth quarter with the game on the line and that’s described as choking.
Game 4 is where everything seemingly came crashing down. The Heat had a chance to go up 3-1 in the series and almost assure themselves of an NBA title. On top of that, Dirk Nowitzki was sick and not his normal, unstoppable self. But LeBron James was completely non-existent in the game, shooting 3 of 11, and only attempting one shot in the entire 4th quarter.
GaMe 5:the game LeBron James called the biggest game of his life going into it, a 112-103 Game loss to the Dallas Mavericks, when the 4th quarter came around and the game was in Lebron’s hands he faltered, scoring just two points in the final quarter. James even had the chance to give the Heat the lead with just over 1:30 left in the fourth, but missed a wide open three pointer.
LeBron will never win a title. It doesn’t matter who is put around him, he’ll always come up short. As the clich

I have a Husky. Great dog.
Anyway, Lebron probably is the biggest choker in NBA history. At least in terms of superstar players.

this is stupid. lebron played poorly in the finals, but has been great in enough clutch moments for us rational nba fans to know that he absolutely has what it takes to win a title.
