Defense is not much better in the east, but rebounding and scoring are clearly much better in the west.

Maybe the Raptors take the collective leap and surprise, but right now the East is pretty much going to be the Cavs and Bulls. Maybe the Heat, too, but I'm not sure this version of the Heat would be any better than a 6-8 seed in the West.
