Reading defenses easier doesn’t mean that more passing is necessarily going to take place. It just means that it’s easier to score the ball. This is why even Rodman understands that MJ would drop 50 a game in today’s rule set. Today’s players under the old rule set would make for much better basketball then what we have now.

Ofcourse it is. As everyone has pointed out, he knows it because he played under the current rules. They allowed him to scythe through defenses at will. And he got back to back mvps as a result.
