The reality is that the USA is still the team to beat. They weren't that far off this year. If they hadn't drawn France who knows

You guys are crazy. Before this tournament the USA had won 5 straight tournaments. The last 2 finals had been 30 point blowouts. No country in any sport had been that dominant.

So we send in the B team and finally lost a tournament. At least now it's more interested.
