if you do the math its all the same.

    10 three pointers=20 points
    10 two pointers=10 points

    In regular nba
    10 three pointers=30 points
    10 2 pointers= 20 points

The point difference is always the same...

So half points? Best 3 point shooting team wins easily.

Cant have half points. Who ever played with half points? Playing 1s and 2s a FT would still be one. And that would make James Harden top 5 dead or alive.

First play of the new league Jamal Crawford would flop on a made 2 point shot get the foul....make the 3 point play....shoot a technical FT when the opposing coach raises hell...and put his team 4 normal field goals up.

It may well end Hack a Shaq though. splitting the FTs would be just fine.....
    you could just switch it to 1 fta for a 1 and 2 fta's for a 2

Team A gets: 5 FGs 2 Long Distance
Team B gets: 6 FGs 1 Long Distance

    Current Rules:

    13-12 Lead for Team B

    Adjusted Rules:

    7-7 Tie

So counting the Long distance shot as double as opposed to 1.5x has a big impact and this is just a small example. Can be much more drastic.

It's not his idea. It's typically how most people play 1-on-1.

    Top 5 would be:

    1. Durant
    2. Lebron
    3. Curry
    4. Harden
    5. Love

    Aka streetball rules

Wtf @ some of the answers in the thread tho. A 3 pointer is 150% of a regular FG. With 1s and 2s scoring, a 2 is 200% of a regular FG. How hard is that to get lol

It basically turns the 3pt shot into a 4pt shot.

To answer OP: whoever the best 3pt team right now would benefit the most
