Should Miami Re-sign Lewis In Offseason?
Was absolutely terrible most of the season until the last two games of the ECF. Has come alive the last 3 weeks, and has been Miami's 3rd best player in the Finals. What kind of contract is he looking at getting?

No. This team is in desperate need of some young blood, and Lewis has been garbage most of the year. There are several other players who could give Miami what Lewis has been giving them recently, only they could do it much more consistently.

Min vet, of course. That is what they'll offer and that is the money he'll want. Lewis has made all the money in the world with that crazy Orlando deal. He's not interested in making more money and playing for a bad team.

if they want some regular season contributions, they may be able to find a younger stretch forward, seeing as the league is littered with them. but if they keep lewis on for cheap, not a bad move. youll know exactly what youre getting. (someone who will contribute during playoff runs, at least against teams that have bigs who have trouble defending the 3 pt line)
what does steve novaks contract look like? is he an upcoming FA?

What's impressed me the most about him (coming from a Spurs fan) is that his presence on the court hasn't been the complete defensive liability I thought it'd be. He's had some success in making our bigs less comfortable than they probably should be when he's guarding them

Vet min. He can guard David West. Yes.

Yes. We need to get younger, but we still need some veteran depth on the bench. He's played well the last 2 series. Nothing wrong with resigning him for the vet min. You think everyone on the bench is going to be young?

Spolestra stuck with him for a long time. Thanks for proving you don't actually watch Heat games
