Has anyone made a bigger jump than Tmac?
When he was 20, he averaged:
15.4 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.3 apg
The next year, at 21 he averaged (went from Toronto to Orlando):
26.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 4.6 apg
I'm debating how valuable Wiggins is to keep (age 19 now) in my fantasy yahoo keeper league. Seems like his two closest comparison players (Durant, Tmac) made that astronomical stat superstar leap the year they are 21.

MJ missed most of that year due to injury, bringing his numbers down because he was playing limited minutes upon return. He averaged 28 as a rookie, so it's fair to assume he would have put up 30+ his second year if fully healthy.

Michael Adams had a pretty significant jump from one year to the next, going from 15.5 ppg to 26.5 ppg. Though, playing in a Paul Westhead offense will do that.

As Dragonyeuw said, MJ played only like 18 games that year. No doubt he would've been around the 30 ppg mark had he played all year. Here's some food for thought. As a Bull, when he played enough games to qualify for the scoring title, he won it every single year except his rookie year, when he averaged 28+ ppg. So he pretty much dominated the league from start to finish. No one dominated the league like MJ as a scorer.

KJ from 9.2 to 20.4 in his second year. Why did the Cavs trade KJ, anyway?

Great call! Ellis came out of NOWHERE!! And had four awesome seasons in Seattle. I think he got hurt in the midst of that and was never the same player. But for four years, he was a top 5 SG in the world. And only behind Bird in terms of being a pure shooter-scorer type. In many ways, Klay Thompson reminds of Ellis. But Klay is an elite defender to go with it.

There should be a few nice jumps this season. Looking forward to it.
Can't answer OP, I'm not a stats fan of old.
