Sim Bhullar gets waived; will anyone pick him up?

Or is it straight to the D-League.
I'm surprised they released him - they made a big deal about signing him, he only played 2 years of college, and you can't teach 7'5".

Doubt it. The guy couldn't play more than 5 minute stretches in college and had a heart attack every time he had to run full court. Perfect example of why there's more than just being tall involved in being an NBA big man. You have to at least be tall and athletic if you don't have skills.

You cant teach being so bad at basketball that you still get cut when you're 7'5", either. I might be wrong maybe he's taking lessons from Hasheem Thabeet.

No way. He's wayyy too out of shape. I don't think any GM in the league will even think about him.

No joke...I would not hesitate to take a 67 year old Kareem over that stumble-bum.

It was just a publicity stunt tying into Ranadive's India motiviations. It was pretty clear that he'd be playing for Reno (or not at all) this year. The guy is simply unfit.

He'd probably die on court if he ever had to start for Thibodeau.

The Hawks should pick him up. Better prospect than Dexter Pittman.
