    Default When will KG retire?

When do you think KG will retire? I think he should retire after this seasons early playoff exit, his body just can't keep up anymore.

2 years, he has a lot of miles in that body that have been played.

superstars shouldn't retire until their late 30's.... he could still be effective coming off the bench in 2 years

IMO it depends when he decides he cant play anymore, he'll likely announce it at a press conference and a lot of people will likely care.

Most superstars don't get drafted out of high school and play 2-3 earlier than most college players. At the age of 35 he's going to have the miles of a 40 year old on his body. I'd be surprised if he's playing in 3 years still.

I bet he plays out his contract and then does another year somewhere before he realizes its over.

At the current rate, 2-3 years after this prolly? After that he'll prolly realize it's a wrap sadly.

But I'm still hopin he finds the fountain of youth.

It's all going to come down to his knee. If he can stay healthy, I bet he retires in 2 years. Maybe 3 depending on how this season goes. If he hurts that knee again, he's gone.

I'm just glad he got a ring to compliment all the hard work he put in over the years. As a kid, I wanted to be like KG soooooo much. the dude is a true NBA superstar who has had a dream career. It will be sad to see him go.

I love KG, but his body is wearing down and he needs to retire soon. As it is he's already top 20 alltime in minutes played.

I'd say finish the two seasons he has left on his contract, then retire.

On a side note he will be the most overpayed player in the league in 11/12 when he'll make over $21M and his stats will probably be something like 10/5.

When he came to the Celtics, I thought he'd age a lot better than this, but after his subtle decline last season and his injury, I knew he was done as an elite player. He's still a valuable player when he's on the court, but nothing more than a 3rd option at best at this point.
