Any of the Magic, Bird, Jordan, or Shaq dynasties would **** on that roster. 96 Bulls especially.

    What?

Conley is great defensively. And so is Asik. Thompson and Durant are vastly under-rated defenders...

Only weak link on that unit would be Dirk...and the good far outweighs the bad. And if that became a problem...you could easily bring Leonard or Wright in to play 3 or 4 depending on if you want to go big or small.

The Warriors have the 4th best defense in the league this year....and with Thompson on the court they have a very solid 101.8 drtg...which would be good for the 3rd best in the league. Curry is nowhere near the defender Conley is.....Dirk is a better defensive player than Lee. I like Asik more than Bogut. Thompson is Thompson...and then it's Durant vs Iggy. No doubt Iggy is superior here, but not so much that the team would be awful defensively. I think that starting 5 would easily have a good enough defense...

Love all the insecure Lebron haters or Durant Stan's getting offending starting a team with Lebron over KD.. I would take love green Noah over bosh Wade Birdman in a second..

Warriors don't play playoff kind of defense. Thompson and durant are poor help defenders and this would be a big problem given that they have to cover for dirk.
Also, bogut would cause more problems for the other team than asik in playoffs.

Totally disagree. I think Asik is just a better defender than Bogut actually.

Warriors don't play playoff defense? What does that even mean? The main reason why one might say something like that would be the fact that Curry is usually a minus defender. And replacing him with Conley/Beverley turns a big weakness into a huge positive on the defensive end.

My point is that the team I listed would be absolutely good enough to play championship level defense...they'd be somewhere in the top 6 or so in terms of defense on the year. And that is absolutely good enough...especially when we aren't in factoring in what Durant/Dirk do offensively that tires out players having to guard them all over so much that it makes it harder to go against them on offense.

If the Warriors can play top 4 defense in this league playing Curry/Lee...managing a 100.9 drtg with Lee on the court this year. There is no reason to think the above team...with great defensive backups at every position...would lose on defense.

    Deandre Jordan
    Blake Griffin
    Lebron James
    Danny Green
    Mario Chalmers

Jamal Crawford, Nick Collison, Jordan Hill, Tony Allen, Patrick Beverley

DJ, BG, LBJ are probably the three most athletic guys at their position as well as the best finishers.

Lebron and Griffin would thrive with Green and Chalmers spacing the floor and getting steals. Fast break points would come so easily to this team...

Nowadays if you're an old, washed up athlete, the most profitable thing you can do for your career is come out gay. Jason Collins was a nobody during his 10 years in the NBA, only true followers of the league knew who tf he was. Now he is a celebrity, well known by all and said to be a good NBA player, good locker room presence
