    Nobody mentions the Pels?

Next year, they will be a top 5 defensive team with Ball, Jrue, Ingram and Zion along with Hart off the bench. You have that many elite defenders, you are going to shrink the court.

Pels have a much higher ceiling in a year or two. I might put my money on them winning more games next year too. People that overlook D are casuals. Lol.

their shooting is awful with that lineup. If they play jj, that's an obvious liability but I think they need to. Rookies arent usually great on defense either. Tbf favors is an underrated rim protector but we'll see how well he does playing starter minutes.

on the kings hand, they wont be above average but they're not going be terrible like the hawks or bulls, top 20 is doable. Dedmon, barnes, fox is solid enough for the starters. hopefully for them, joseph and ariza can be decent as defensive specialists, that's what they got overpaid to do.

Nuggets and Kings. Pelicans if Zion lives up to the hype as well. Young promising talent is a beautiful thing. I'm a fan of Fox and Jokic.

Wish the Knicks can get some besides RJ and MitchRob. I don't like any of their other youngins yet. Maybe Knox improves, maybe Brazdeikis surprises.

Good point about shooting. But for me, I think playoff bball. And to me, that is do you have guys who can be "the man" and create their own shot in half court sets? And I think they have 2 great candidates in BI and Zion. 2nd thing I look for is D, which they have. 3rd is probably end to end, athleticism. Pels got all that too for sure.

My criteria for great teams is different than most. But that's what I look for. I believe in a lot of guys on the Pels, especially if Zion turns out to be what he's supposed to be, I think it's a wrap. He's got that desire to compete on both ends, which is everything.

Well playoff b-ball is different from the rs but I just don’t think the pels will be particularly close to making the playoffs(35-40 wins imo). Their defense and iso ability could give them an edge vs other teams in a playoff series but it’ll likely be a moot point next year. I also argue all 3 of the kings young guys can get buckets out of isolation. Zion really having a great rookie season is what could derail my prediction but we’ll see.

The spurs will be good next year with Murray coming back. Dallas has a fantastic duo that fits well together on paper. Sac has a promising young core that already won 39 games last year.

He'll average 20 ppg at worst (assuming he has no health issues) and be the best player on the Pels this season. He'll be the main ball handler and creator too. Great thing about all this baby boi is that time will reveal the truth. You guys are so going to eat crow when it comes to YDK. Such a shame you can't see such obvious talent.

he could average 20+. Being better than jrue within a year seems like a huge stretch however. The gm and coach have been pushing jrue so hard as the lead guy to the media evem..

Jrue's ceiling is limited given the fact that he has no dominant offensive abilities. That is the main qualifier for being "the man." You probably don't know this as you don't live in LA but David Griffin absolutely loved Ingram all this time. This trade would not have happened if he wasn't so high on him. YDK will be given the keys to the franchise along with Zion. Zion might end up being the better player but YDK clearly is most qualified to be the main ball handler and creator on this team this upcoming year despite Lonzo and Jrue. You don't have to believe me, just realize it when it materializes.
