Regular season is just practice. Also the west is tough. Teams like pelicans, grizzles, warriors would be top 5 seeds in the east.

It also doesn't help that Paul George has averaged 14PPG in last 5 games played with kawhi. Ever since that foot injury, George has had his foot up his ass. If Paul George doesn't take his foot out of his ass by playoffs? I want kawhi to take his talents to Dallas mavericks this off-season as they have cap space and form a big 3 of Kawhi/Luka/Porzingis that is superior to nets big 3 and would be a dynasty. 1) His role and the things he does are matched by most teams in the league - 28/9/8 is nice, but there's always someone approximating that every game in today's format, aka Lillard, or Trae last year, tons of guys...People are mainly overly-enamored with his size and path, even though size means less as a ball-handler in today's game, since the format allows anyone to get to the rim and Doncic isn't a dominant jumpshooter (see the stats above comparing an actual dominant jumpshooter, to Doncic).

2) WS/48 - a statistical reflection of the fact that he isn't actually outplaying guys at his minute-level as much as you think, due to the aforementioned jumpshooting/efficiency issues and the automatic aspect of the game (easy stats).

I watched most of the clips mavs game. Luka was clearly the best player on the floor.

I think he is already a better player than Kawhi. In a couple years he'll be a tier above Kawhi ever had been.

I agree with 3balls that Luka is overrated due to his ridiculous ball dominance and inflated stats, but watching him play... he is something special. Kawhi is not as special, just overrated due to playing on stacked af teams for his entire career.
