This team had a chance...Dirk didn't know what was going to happen. And Dirk really likes Parsons.

They had a chance though because Dirk signed for cheap.

Could have had Ariza and IT and then made the Crowder, Wright, and first rounder trade for Mozgov and a piece.

It was all there...we just made a bad signing with Parsons and unfortunately walked into another Odom situation. As usual Cuban/Nellie Jr. back to putting bad teams together. Same story since 04.

At least Dirk is not whining or bitching at the organization. That is loyalty right there.

Dirk has been taken care of, there is no doubts that he has stability for life with the franchise if he wants it. While the team has fallen apart you could take the positive spin and say at least they tried to make a competitor rather than being a mid level team. I'd be more happy as a player to have had management try and fail then to have stayed put with a roster that was never going to win. That being said if they had not of blown it up trying to land Dwight/Deron in the first place they could have kept their championship roster for another year and then reloaded (due to age).

Cubans pride is too much.. unfortunately the mavs are like a toy to him.. and his power hungry Ness bit him in the ass.

Yea...if you really go through his moves with the team and Nellie Jr.'s moves from 04 to present it's pretty awful...same with draft picks.

Like...the only great signing was Tyson in 11 and they readily admit that they didn't even want him and just got lucky because it's all we really could do.

I love Cuban for at least trying to win, but he and Nellie Jr. have put out a lot of shit over the years from players to coaches...especially considering the stability an all time franchise guy like Dirk provided pretty much from the jump.
