They had prime CP3, Blake, DJ, Redick and they had Jamal Crawford's best years and couldn't make it out of the 2nd round all those seasons.. Clippers are only known for choking in the Playoffs.

Have they really been "better" if they haven't accomplished more than the Lakers in this decade? Are we hanging Division or Championship banners at Staples?

Think about it, Clippers from 2011-2019 have had their greatest run in terms of overall talent on the teams and some of those Regular Seasons, yet accomplished as much as we did when we've been in the rebuild since Kobe's achilles ruptured.

Actually had to take a peek and their 6 best Regular Seasons ever came in this decade, they've been a franchise(in LA, at least) since the 80s and all they got to show for it is a 2nd round exit?

I mean, those aren't mutually exclusive. The Clippers have been better but the Lakers still get way more media coverage and attention. Especially lately with Magic and Ball fueling the hype. So in a way they are still in their shadow in terms of notoriety and respect.

The tweet talks about the last couple years. Clippers and Lakers both missed the Playoffs in 2018 and the last season we were the better team but lost our best players to injuries at the 2nd half of the season.. point is that the Clippers weren't really better the last couple years if we look at the talent on both teams and their best season ever is on par with one of our forgettable seasons where we came up short so there's nothing "better" about the Clippers.
