A mothers' genetics determines how clever her children are, according to researchers , and the father makes no difference.
Women are more likely to transmit intelligence genes to their children because they are carried on the X chromosome and women have two of these, while men only have one.

But in addition to this, scientists now believe genes for advanced cognitive functions which are inherited from the father may be automatically deactivated.
A category of genes known as 'conditioned genes' are thought to work only if they come from the mother in some cases and the father in other cases.

Intelligence is believed to be among the conditioned genes that have to come from the mother.

Laboratory studies using genetically modified mice found that those with an extra dose of maternal genes developed bigger heads and brains, but had little bodies. Those with an extra dose of paternal genes had small brains and larger bodies.

the fact is, that's just a theory. science is not actually like a supreme court that passes rulings on things; that kind of spin is just the usual way the media makes the most money... which is also why they never seem to change or learn their lesson.

now, anecdotally this particular theory does smell like bullshit to me if taken as the final determinant. i know plenty of bright people whose dads were pretty clearly smarter and more high-functioning than their mums.

1) i don't think there's any question about it. after all, women have dramatically differently-arranged neural networks compared to us, which makes sense given how dramatically different their life roles are.

also, IQ testing has consistently shown that despite all of our many brain differences, men and women still test at around the same total outcome, which averages about 100pts in the USA and europe, i think.

2) that makes perfect sense to me, and is also one of the earliest lessons that smart people have to learn in life.

How can I improve my situation in my life?

I am 31 years old.


I am unemployed/broke and live with my 61 year old mother who financially takes care of me.


I have 60,000 dollars in student loan debt and a two year degree in Business Management. I have so much debt because I went to a 4 year university and screwed around and was put on academic suspension. I never got a degree from the 4 year university because of that.


I live in Americus, Georgia which is a small rural town.


I am addicted to porn and fapping. I fap 5 times a day and look at porn/porn gifs hours on end.


I am a virgin and never had a girlfriend. I have no friends and am socially awkward.


I don't have a car and don't have a driver's license but I do have a learner's license.


I have only worked one job my whole life; a work study job while in school.


I am 5'9'' and weigh 275 pounds.
