Re: Did ESPN disrespect Durant, Kobe, and Wade this year...
not exactly disrespect, just too brainwashed by injuries. kd is #1b right now and everyone knows it - kob is way above 40
wade seems about right tho

They'll do anything to prop up LeFraud. He needs all the help he can get to mask his phony career.

KD would've been #2 if it wasn't for his injury, ESPN said it.
Kobe and D-Wade did get disrespected doe.

@ all the LeTurds in this thread. There aren't 35 players in the league better than Wade.

Heck there were 12 Spurs better than Wade in the Finals, so 35 players in the league isnt really a stretch imo

Re: Did ESPN disrespect Durant, Kobe, and Wade this year...
No, it isn't disrespectful to rank Kobe Bryant or Dwyane Wade that low because each of them are on the downside of their career and each has had injury issues over the last couple of seasons that have limited their effectiveness, not to mention ability to play consistently at a high level.
I do, however, have a problem with Kevin Durant's ranking because he is the reigning MVP and played at a historically high level for much of last season without Russell Westbrook. He averaged 35 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and scored very efficiently in those games without Russell Westbrook when OKC went 20-7 without his fellow All NBA sidekick.
In addition to being the reigning MVP and putting up those absurd numbers without Russell Westbrook only 10 months ago, he is also just entering his prime at 26 years old. He is only expected to be out for five or six weeks of the regular season.

Meh, it's just to create a lot of clicks and buzz for their network, see how it worked? You're all upset about it like many other fans are. It was just a "projection" by "analysts" and "experts". There's a legit concern with Wade and Kobe, who have struggled due to injuries lately. When healthy, they are obviously much higher than ranked, but you have to take injuries into account. They are prone to injury.
The KD ranking was absurd though, but I guess it worked for them.

Fixed, because I'm sure that's what you meant to say.

They downgraded KD because he won't be playing a full season so I don't think it's ridiculous to do the same to Wade. Either Miami will sit him out of back to backs and give him other rest games to limit his mileage or he will play full time and get hurt.
It's almost impossible to assume that Wade will stay healthy through a whole season at this point.
