Solid counter-argument bro. Feel free to re-visit the thread when you take Kobes **** out of your mouth. Remember to swallow too, Mr. Bryant doesn't like stains on his new rugs.

It isn't even close, Bynum controls the paint defensively and when given the ball in the post there is noone that can stop him. He gets much better looks at the basket compared to Kobe. Kobe lives off of tough shots these days and though he can make them sometimes it is not going to be consistant aside from his hot streaks. He doesn't get enough easy points for him to be a superstar anymore. He is just a shot chucker at this stage and a slow unathletic Allen Iverson. Defensively Kobe has fallen big time, while Bynum is impossible to post up and his length ****s up anyone that tries penetrating.
Bynums weaknesses are durability and the ability to handle double teams. Thus far he has been healthy all year. He still needs to handle double teams better, but, it is enough to overlook for him in favor of Kobe who is incredibly inefficient and really just costs his team possessions with all of his retarded shots rather than let go of his ego and give the ball to the superior players on his team that live in the post.
When healthy Bynum is EASILY better than Kobe. It isn't even debatable unless your a Kobe nutrider or someone who takes everything ESPN forces down their throats as fact.

Kobe
Bynum's performance as of late has been stellar. Kobe has had some bad shooting games. But if we're going into the playoffs and we had to pick one player to move on with while benching one, its Kobe.

You know, it's not because you write something that it becomes true. "Who is the best president between Bush and Obama ? This is a legitimate question these days wether people specifically obama fans want to believe or not".
Do you see how ridiculous your claim is ? You gotta back it up.

Re: Who is the best player on the Lakers?
best as in invaluable i'd agree its Bynum. if he weren't so injury prone, or had to play secondary to Kobe's chucking, he'd be recognized as one of the biggest beasts in the league. there isn't a bigger mismatch in the league than Bynum vs everyone else. its as close to having a Shaq in the league today imo. its just such a waste sometimes tho with Kobe jacking up so many shots or dominating it, and i wouldn't mind so much if he weren't constantly taking bad ones or making them harder. that kills me more about Kobe than Bynum/Pau not being used so much.

Re: Who is the best player on the Lakers?
In the regular season It's been Bynum. It's not really close. However, when the playoffs come, I believe Kobe will be. With no more back-2-backs and hectic travelling schedules, Kobe will be able to play at a higher level in the slower paced half court game.

jump shooters are always going to be much more wishy washy than bigs in the post. playoffs or not, i don't think Kobe's inconsistency will change because no player is very hot every game from perimeter. look at Joe Johnson and the sea saw games he has, but that goes for EVERY mid to long range shooter.
