They weren't loaded they were missing there go to scorer in Amare and Kobe still lost
He even had a 3-1 lead and blew it imagine the best player of all time choking a 3-1 lead

I don't know what you guys are looking at. I'm taking 2nd 3Peat MJ all day. You can have the regular season scoring binges. It doesn't matter if you give up a 3-1 lead in the first round and lose the deciding game by 31 points.
Give me the guy that will give you 38 and a W on the road in the swing game of the NBA Finals while dehydrated and sick.

Titles are overrated
Re: 2006 Kobe better than 2nd 3 peat Jordan?
The 05 suns were loaded. 06? No Amare or Joe Johnson.
Good team. Not exceptionally loaded.
Marion and role players behind a superstar is below the standard of most any team ever considered stacked.
Far as 06 Kobe vs Jordan?
Look at what AI, Lebron, arenas, Pierce, redd, and ray Allen put up scoring wise compared to the rest of their careers. Watch wade in the finals. It

Look at what AI, Lebron, arenas, Pierce, redd, and ray Allen put up scoring wise compared to the rest of their careers. Watch wade in the finals. It’s fairly clear the rule changes hit hard in 06. Put 1993 MJ in 2006 on a bad team and see how it goes. Pre prime raw Lebron did 31 a game and post prime AI did 33.
Kobe had a bit of a Harden 19 year with new applications of the rules giving a scoring boost.
Jordan missed 06 and 19. We can’t all acknowledge the easier league now compared to 06 and not act like perimeter scorers didn’t have a huge explosion in 06 relative to Jordan’s day.
06 Kobe would murder 19....90 Jordan would murder 06.
Not much arguing either of those points for anyone who saw the times in question.
for 2006 the suns were loaded even without amare
you're thinking of loaded in the sense of how it is today or was during other eras
back in the mid 00's the suns were an offensive juggernaut
people forget how great marion was.. he's a boarderline hall of famer
barbosa was one of the most underrated players in the nba at the time
bell was considered some big defensive stopper at the time
boris diaw was a basketball wizard
tim thomas was a do it all guy
eddie house is one of the best 3 point shooting role players ever
james jones was another sharp shooter from distance
all perfect complimentary pieces
and of course you had nash ( the best playmaker in the game at the time ) orchestrating all of it
put that up against kobe and bums and its amazing they won 3 games and came within a rebound of eliminating them

That point rarely seems to get raised in these discussions about 2006. Thank you. EVERYONE enjoyed peak raw scoring ppg years regardless of whether they were pre-prime( Lebron), prime( Kobe), or back end of prime(Iverson). You just mentioned guards, look at Dirk ( a perimeter oriented PF). Career high PPG in 2006( who beat his prior career high in 05 by half a point). It's too bad Tmac was already getting serious back issues by the 05 season, because 2003 Tmac would have shit all over the league offensively that year as well.
