Re: Curry on pace for GOAT
It's pretty insane that a 6'2'' guy can completely dominate a game in every way. He's the best player since Kobe and he's clearly the league's best player this season. No one is even close,

He's ten times better than Kobe. Not sure why you'd put Kobe in the same league as this guy
The only players close to him (and have an argument for being better ) are Lebron and Duncan.
He's insanely good. Hopefully this continues.

Re: Curry on pace for GOAT
Thats the weird thing about it... he's coming out of nowhere looking like a to 5 player ever during his prime/peak...
only players of the last generation as dominant are Shaq and Bron.
A plus for him, because of this, he had minimal expectations when he came into the league... he was mentioned among 2nd tier stars like Russ/BG/etc, so an all-star for sure, but no one saw this leap coming.
So, he's universally loved, but I don't think people will realize the level he has gotten to right now, has probably only been played at by a good 8-9 players ever.

If he's 10 times better than Kobe, and Kobe is top 15, then what does that make Curry?

You really are an idiot. Curry routinely shoots lights out off the dribble with guys right in his face.

Lol Curry and GSW are goin to shove it up bran's ass and his hopes of winning another chip. Don't do this to yourself your boy's era? is done.

Re: Curry on pace for GOAT
Current is viewed as the best scorer, so he needs to achieve at least the following to even enter GOAT discussion:
Win 8+ scoring champs;
Win 6+ NBA titles and FMVPs
Very difficult.

I think its quite evident we're in the midst of a Warriors dynasty.. the WCF will likely be GSW/Spurs, the one challenging series for them.
3 and 4 will go to OKC/LAC, so the first two seeds will be somewhat challenged in the second round, but likely make it out of there in 5-6 games. Small, very small upset chance there.

Why would he want to win the scoring title? Shouldn't h be resting and passing?

Also, offensive rating (ORtg) is a better efficiency measure than true shooting because it measures points produced per possession, which includes assists and turnovers.. True shooting doesn't consider assist or turnovers, nor does it measure efficiency on a per possession basis.

Btw, Jordan's superior 21-game stretch (shown above) wasn't anywhere NEAR his best stretch - it was just his most EFFICIENT stretch (based on points-per-possession, ORtg)...
He had far better stretches, including 40 ppg stretches, and these:
Jordan's first 20 games of the Finals:
35.5 ppg.. 6.5 rpg.. 7.4 apg.. 51.2 fg.. 2.0 spg
(these 20 games include 3 rings, 3 fmvps, and a 3-0 lead with 4th fmvp on the way)
1986-1993 playoffs (107 games):
34.5 ppg.. 6.9 rpg.. 7.1 apg.. 2.3 spg... 1.0 bpg.. 50.3 fg
