Awesome team, will definitely look out for them and hope for the best. Rubio looks good, Williams looks like he will develop into a great player, also Love, Beasley and JJ Barea are great. Good team with lots of future.

Wolves shot 14% from behind the 3pt line on 22 shots. They shot 70 some % from the free throw line while Oklahoma City shot above 90. Rubio had 6 assists and ZERO turnovers. Smart point gaurd. Only lost by a shot.

The most surprising part of tonight's game, at least for me, was Barea's role off the bench as not only a spark plug for buckets, but also as a floor general and "veteran" presence guiding the offense on- and off-ball.

I balked at his signing initially, but at least tonight it seemed like it worked.

I agree BS. Barea seemed to be the leader of the team. Very good addition for Minnesota, especially considering that this is Rubio's first season, I'm sure the presence of Barea will help make Rubio's transition a little easier.

Beasley still needs to learn what bad/stupid shot is. He forced a couple of shots. And I don't mean at the end of the shot clock. Sometimes he becomes a black hole. If he can get past that and learn to swing it, then he'll be fine. I'd like to see him not shoot so much. But he was ok tonight. Loved that dunk he had late in the game.

Derrick Williams looked good when he wasn't settling for 3's. His deep ball was off tonight, as was everyone else's.

I know it's only one game, but I'm not changing my prediction of Wolves to the playoffs just yet. I know it's crazy, but I believe in this talent and I think Adelman is the perfect coach for 'sota's situation.

To me, it just seemed like he was really excited to be in the league and play in his first game in hopefully a long NBA career.

When he drove to the hope, he did it with reckless abandon and almost forced it, and when he had anything resembling an open look on the perimeter, he jacked it up.

He'll find his role and a way to best utilize his skills eventually, it will just take some time.

cant beat many teams who shoot well over 90% from the ft line on 30+ attempts...and u go 3-22 from 3.

i hope we beat the bucks tomorrow at least, and go to the miami game 1-1. barea was a great addition and seems like hes an excellent teammate.

williams woulda scored more had he hit some bunnies he will normally do later on in time.

blah. woulda been a huge first win for this team. i hope tomorrow ridnour plays less, the team has 0 flow when hes in the game.

I noticed that, too. The offense was almost non-existant, or dependent on Beasley creating, when Ridnour was out there. But when Rubio and Barea were in there, there was some flow to everything.

They need a veteran scoring threat on the court during fourth quarters. Barea will help out there.

We need Beasley to figure it out. We can't depend on Barea to be open in the clutch. Beasley has to create and pass the ball when he draws defenders instead of holding the ball into his body and throwing it up at the last second hoping not to get blocked.

Beasley is just too stupid, he takes awful shots in critical situations of the game, he's a great scorer but he has really low IQ.
