since rondo has such huge hands he can pass, dribble and ball fake so well, but i wonder if it makes him a worse shooter
by all accounts hes a gym rat but he is still a bad shooter

Broad shoulders, long arms, huge hands, and bad shooting usually go hand in hand. I went through the same shit. Regardless, he's in the NBA so he must be doing something right. Still, at 24 years old you would think his shooting would be better. His form reminds me of my little brothers...

Re: Who has the longest arms relative to height?
just by looking at them on the court Leandro Barbosa stands out to me. I read somewhere that he's 6'3" with a 6'10" wingspan but its hard to believe he's really 6'3"

I could be way wrong, but I think it's Rondo.

I saw him palm a pass in mid air and palm a rebound like MJ did. For a dude that small, that's nuts.

Dr J.
The guy had insane wingspan & extra large hand size.

That's the same deal with Kobe. Kobe's got crazy long arms too.

How long were John Salley's arms? They didn't call him spider for nothing.

First guy I thought of. I'm still shocked he's not an elite defender, he has the physical tools - quickness and length - to shut down anyone's penetration.

Re: Who has the longest arms relative to height?
Larry Sanders - 6"9 without shoes, 7"5 wingspan.
Marvin Williams - 6"7 without shoes 7"3 & a half wingspan

have you guys got ANY idea how frikkin crazy that is. This is why i know Rondo is a special player and will be in the league for many years. His hands and arms allow him to play like a 6 foot 5 guy yet he still has the pace and the handles of a little fella.
My other honourable mention goes to Nate who is only 5 foot 7 and has a wingspan of 6 foot 1 which i thought was very impressive.
The taller you get generally the longer the wingpsan so it doesn't really impress me much above the 6 foot mark
what a douchey post. as others have pointed out, its probably maxiell (among active players and going by actual listed heights and wingspans). His wingspan is 10.5" longer than his height. that beats rondo or roddy, who should also be in the discussion.

But relative to his height Jason Maxiell's 10.5" more wing span than height is less long than 10" more wing span than height for Rodrigue Beaubois.
