Those top 10 conversations killing me .

What's the matter top 10 or not ?

Shaq was far more gifted guy , who was top 3-5 all time talent . And i can say , Kobe did match his career . Kobe wasn't probably in top 15-20 all time talent . And he had amazing work ethic to be comprable Shaq,Magic,Bird,Hakeem,Duncan etc .. Maybe not better than those , but doesn't matter . This is more respectful than Shaq's dominance for me .

So , top 10 or not .. Kobe had special career and people talking abouth him all day here . That's the greatness .

Pretty much. Most basketball fans have him around 12th-14 th. There's no shame in that either.

The same expert picks that think 2/7 is worthy of top 3 ever?

The only reason Kobe isn't higher even though he is in the top 10 is because he wanted to win without Shaq and the CP3 trade was vetoed. He'd probably be 9/10 if both of those things never happened just like MJ would be 8/8 at least if he never left. People like to re-write history and pretend that certain events didn't take place.

That's a media-driven, living in the moment sentiment. Let's wait a few years. Back in 2004-5 the general consensus was Bryant not winning a ring again and his best years having been behind him.

What kind of stupid ****ing nonsense is this? Yeah the heat got blown out...the Lakers were about 10 times better as a team (Pau Gasol alone is better than the next three best players on the heat in 2010 combined)...how exactly does that make Kobe Bryant better than Wade?...especially when Wade pushed the Celtics shit in and Kobe did this:

    Dwyane Wade: 33.2ppg 6.8apg 5.6rpg 1.6spg 1.6bpg .650%ts

    Kobe Bryant: 28.6ppg 3.9apg 8.0rpg 2.1spg 0.7spg .528%

The Lakers wouldn't have needed 7 games to beat the Celtics if they had Wade instead of Kobe. Stick to wilt you dumb ass.

This is correct, but they also have to be ranked relative to a number of key factors

Was the team built around them?
Did they jump teams to collude and chase rings?
Did they win after another superstar on their team left?
How many times did they win in the finals?
How many times did they fail in the finals?
How many post season accolades do they have?
How many FMVP to they have?
How stacked were their teams and how easy was their trip to the finals?
Did they 3 peat, leave the game, and then come back only to 3 peat again?

Once you take all the above into account, the picture becomes clearer.

    You mean Bus-Rider Wade????

The man led his team down in flames in the FIRST ROUND, just as he would choke in game six of the Finals the very next year. And they were down 3-0, and nearly SWEPT.

Kobe had a poor shooting game seven in the '10 Finals, but thru the first SIX games, and receiving ALL of Boston's defensive attention...

    30.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 4.2 apg, and on a .546 TS%.

And of course, Kobe was CARRYING his team into that Finals, as well.

And, as ALWAYS, he was BRILLIANT in the WCF's...

    33.7 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 8.3 apg, and on a .677 TS%.

    GTFO with the Bus-Rider.

The only Finals in which he contributed anything is generally regarded as the most SUSPICIOUS Finals in NBA HISTORY. His FTAs FAR exceeded his regular season averages, and were considerably higher than his playoff averages. He was blowing thru defenders like Earl Campbell, and getting questionable calls the the last half of the Finals.

    Kobe >>>>>>>>>>>>> Bus-Rider.

Stick to something you actually know about. Wait...that would be...NOTHING.

This is like the typical kobe stan dick sucker response...I didn't even know you were a kobe stan. I love the part about how Kobe carried the Lakers into the finals...he only had Pau who was a borderline top 10 player in the league in 2010 (and led the that run in ws), but yeah Kobe carried that team into the finals. Have a heart attack and die you old bastard.
