Mohammed stabs 4 students at UC Merced
Surprising to not see this thread on here... media not really publicizing it because no gun was involved.

[QUOTE]As of Thursday morning, one of the student victims remained hospitalized, but is expected to recover, the school said.
The staff member suffered a collapsed lung and had surgery, the school said.
The construction worker and other student victim were treated and released Wednesday, the school said.
The campus, located 130 miles southeast of San Francisco, is scheduled to reopen Thursday afternoon so that faculty and staff can access their offices, except the Classroom and Office Building where the stabbings began, school officials said.
Classes, however, remain canceled Thursday and will resume Friday.

Everyone should have knives at all times. Then this wouldn't happen.

Re: Mohammed stabs 4 students at UC Merced
So 4 students stabbed: All survived?
This only supports what everyone from any anti-gun movement has been saying all along, guns are far more effective killing tools than say, knives. They have range, and a lot more power behind them to destroy tissue.
If all other incidents where guns were used on people had been knife attacks instead there'd be a lot less victims buried in graves. That much is true. Think how many people that guy who shot up a theater would have actually been able to kill had he only had a knife. Stab one person, everyone has a chance to scream and scatter and stay safely out of harms way. Shoot one person, many people ducking for cover are still going to get hit and are likely to die from their bullet wounds.
Paramedics will tell you stab victim wounds are typically easier to treat than bullet wounds. Not that you'd want to get stabbed. But even if you did, you've a much greater chance of escaping than someone with a ranged weapon and bullets with lead hollow points and many joules of energy behind them.
