Ricky Rubio's knee feels fine
Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio said he has not had to take any precautions or go through additional treatment since he "felt something" in his surgically repaired knee during the Miami Heat game earlier this week.
Rubio went to the locker room to have his knee examined in the third quarter of the game Monday, March 4, but returned to play in the fourth quarter. Rubio participated in the Wolves' shootaround practice Wednesday without any signs of discomfort, and Wolves coach Rick Adelman said Rubio had "seemed OK" during Tuesday's practice.
"I was worried because it was the first time I felt something in the knee, but everything is fine," Rubio said after Wednesday's shootaround. "That means the surgery went well. My knee feels better than before the injury, and I'm pretty happy about that."
