I don't see how Amare could mess it up. He's one of the best finishing bigs ever, with a KG like jumpshot. The offense is all about ball movement, and Kurt Thomas/Tyson Chandler are taking his shots...the offense fits his style of play.

Its whether he can fit in defensively that determines his value as a starter though.

except he take away the floor space for carmelo, so it makes team worse offensively, he is also very bad at defense. that's why last season when amare is on the floor, the knicks were out scored on average of 11 points, thats' just eye popping.

they played at the same level last year after Woodson took over. but now rrplace baron Davis, Bibby, Douglas, Fields, Jeffries, Harrelson and Lin with Felton, Kidd, Brewer, Kurt Thomas, Camby, Rasheed and prigioni

I think the offense is on a completely different level than it ever was last season.
