Anyone thinks that the Lakers' announcers are good must need their heads checked; Stu Lantz is terrible, and just lives off reputation since Chick Hearn died. The only way I could stomach watching a Laker game is if they're on ABC or TNT.
I haven't heard enough of the Mavericks' announcers, so I can't comment there.
Here's my list of horrible announcing teams...
*Cleveland
*Sacramento
*Memphis
*Oklahoma City (Grant Long isn't too bad, but their PxP guy is awful)
*Miami (I hate Eric Reid's voice)
*Lakers
