'Dre Day' and 'Takeover' are probably the two best overall "diss tracks" to me. The production and flow on these songs was top notch.

'No vaseline' and 'ether' were the best straight up disses though.

    Ether
    No Vaseline
    Hit em Up

What's up with this contract hit ish? From what I've heard, Anderson and co. shot up Pac and Suge out of revenge for getting jumped earlier. Nothing about Diddy calling in a hit

I am almost 90% sure that Suge got LAPD to take out Biggie. So maybe there's truth to what's Dadda is saying if Suge wanted revenge

Pac wanted to do movies and write books and never do music again nor associate with any of these people again. So this argument over whether he's a real gangster or not is stupid. He wanted to be an artist, not some stupid fake cliche that winded up being real and getting him killed.

The story goes that as the feud between Bad Boy and Death Row escalated from just words to fights/armed conflicts, Suge kidnapped an associate of Puffy's and tortured him trying to get info about where Puff stayed whenever he was in Cali. Of course when Puff found out about that he freaked out. He started paying the South Side Crips protection money to act as his bodyguards whenever he was on the West Coast. He also put out a bounty on Death Row members' chains (then later allegedly the $1 million contract on Tupac and Suge).

Baby Lane and some others jumped a Death Row member and snatched his chain in LA. Later in Vegas the guy who got his chain snatched spotted Lane in the lobby of the casino, told his whole crew including Pac and Suge and then the melee happened that was caught on tape.

And naturally after getting his ass whooped, Lane got some of his people together and they drove around looking for Pac and crew, found him, shot him and Suge. Pac died.

I am almost 90% sure that Suge got LAPD to take out Biggie. So maybe there's truth to what's Dadda is saying if Suge wanted revenge
Don't know the particular details of who killed Biggie, but yeah it was definitely Suge who arranged that. Eye for an eye.

    ?

Naw, I don't think so...he was preaching 'thug life' up until the day he died...he was going to Tyson fights with Suge on the actual day of his death, he wasn't trying to separate from him.

Interesting stuff. Puffy never seemed like the gangster type like Suge but i guess i was wrong.

I think this dude may have been the triggerman. Lot of circumstantial evidence and even people in LAPD think he did it. He also had ties to the Bloods as did Suge

Anderson bragged openly about his act before he himself was killed in a gang shootout less than 2 years later. He had the means, the motive, and was involved in an altercation (which was caught on tape) with Pac/Suge and their entourage just 3 hours before the hit.

Two independent investigations concluded that Anderson and the South Side Crips were offered a $1 million bounty by Puffy/Biggie (and others involved in the dispute like Jimmy Henchman) to kill Tupac and Suge.

Think about it... why would Suge put himself in the line of fire? Wasn't he shot in the head during the Tupac hit? That makes absolutely no sense.
No, the way the story ACTUALLY goes is this.....

Puffy used to hire these guys for security when he would be in LA. Apparently puffy said something in passing like he'd pay $1 million to knock off 2pac and Suge. Nobody took it seriously.

Then the fight happened at the MGM. After the fight, they decided to kill them and collect the money from Puffy. They knew he didn't actually put a hit on them, but they were gonna kill them anyway so figured they could muscle him to pay for it. When they tried to collect, puffy was like "wtf? I didn't ask you to do that."

Puffy didn't pay up and they started threatening him. These guys ended up killing Biggie as payback for puffy not paying the $1 million (that he didn't even owe them, but these aren't exactly reasonable people).

Whether this is all true or not, who knows.

We'll most likely never know unless someone directly involved gets in trouble and starts snitching (like Dexter Isaac did when he revealed his part in the Quad City robbery). But on that note, Andersen's uncle Duane Keith 'Keffe D' Davis claims that Puffy directly offered him the $1 million contract. He only came forward with this information when naturally he got in trouble for something else. So who knows?

It's possible Lane and Davis weren't in Vegas for the Tyson fight but knew Pac and Suge would be there.

Bud, take Biggie's **** outta your mouth.
62 year old Mob Bosses or scared ex-wives place bounties on people; real gangsta's don't let others do the dirty work for them.

Pac threatened them sure; so because those bitches were scared/mad at his words they had to hire others to do the dirty work. Oh yeah some gangsters.

Those New York bitches should have all died; I don't sympathize for Biggie's daughter or his family. This is the fat **** that had killed the most influential rapper of all-time. I have no respect for him as a man and never will; he was a great rapper no doubt, but that's where my respect ends with him.

So mob bosses aren't gangsters now?

That's the main perk of being a boss- other people do your bidding and you never have to get your hands dirty.

No one was afraid of Tupac. They were scared shitless of Suge Knight though, so was Pac.

I have absolutely no idea why you're so mad about this. Was Tupac your father or something?

Dude reaped what he sowed. He was a kid that was doing ballet in performing arts schools with Jada Pinkett and back up dancing doing the humpty dance who wanted to live the Thug Life... died at 25 because of it. Let's not act like he was some innocent bystander. He assaulted the guy who most likely ended up killing him. He threatened to kill a lot of people but ended up getting hit up first.

    Just the way it goes.
