I have a feeling that if he leaves LA he will go back to playing like a scrub. I feel this situation is the right place for him. There's not much pressure on him really, it's all on the other 4. So he can just go out an ball without much worry.

He would be stupid to turn down a better offer from another team. Just look at Jordan Hill. That was facepalm worthy.

except on any other team , clark would not be putting up near the stats he got right now.

no team is game planning for clark on the lakers when u have kobe, nash and gasol on the floor. and clark cannot create his own shot but on the lakers u got kobe nash and gasol all great passers to give him good looks.

jordan hill is never a starter, he has gasol and dwight(bynum) infront of him.

clark will be a starter at the 3 in the future cuz lakers have no one else at the position

Max contract...goes to the Bobcats to become the franchise player....wins a ring immediately....Lakers miss the playoffs.

I would stay with the Lakers if I were him honestly...He's not ready to be some big time player just yet. I think he should continue to improve his game with the team that gave him a shot to play well....And he seems to be a fan favorite now...

Also....if he leaves L.A....fans will be like Earl who? He's not big enough yet..

Posted this in another thread:
If GMs see him more of a Rashard/Frye/ type = $3-5MM/yr.
If GMs see him to be a new Lamar Odom(pre-2011) = $8-9MM/yr.

A team WILL offer 4-5mil a year for 2-3 years
Trevor Ariza is making 33mil for 5 years (around 6.6 mil a year)

Not his fault this team of super stars didn't pan out. He wasn't even expected to start or play over 10 minutes a game. He's exceeded expectations. As far as D, I've seen him take up guarding the best scorer on other teams. Probably because he's the only athletic young guy on the team that can defend. Even Kobe's defense has been slipping.
