If OKC does well without him they'll likely be conservative and keep him out longer than necessary.

This Roberson starting shit won't fly now. Far too much pressure on Russ.

It will most likely hurt durants MVP chances regardless. Only chance it doesn't is if OKC sucks without him and he comes back and they look like the best team in the league.
LeBron was a lock for the MVP award this year anyways, with the way the media works and shit.

agreed pretty Boy.
If he misses near 2 months, AND LeBron gets Cavs the 1st seed... 5th MVP = Locked

lol you don't even need that to happen for Bron to win MVP.
The media tried so hard to find a reason to give him it last year, but fell up short. All that needs to happen is Cleveland getting the first seed for him to win it this year.

Nah.. LeBron had a pretty insane Stretch last year where he visibly turned it up, outplayed KD in Oklahoma and dropped 61, so it was normal he went back into MVP talk..
KD missing 20+ games will definitely Play a factor.

Yeah, he dropped 61 on the bobcats and then shit the bed for the next 2 weeks vs actual quality teams. And just as he outplayed KD in OKC, he got outplayed by Durant in MIA.
That MVP talk was hilarious to anyone who looked at the differences in stats, team injury situations, strength of schedule, and basically any worthwhile numbers to base MVP voting off of.

Nah... He barely got outplayed in MIA, heck, statistically he didn't...
In Oklahoma was night and day though.

Also:
Even in the regular season, LeBron was STILL superior...
But then in the Playoffs, that's where it really fell apart for Durant.
