I actually thought New Coke was better.

Smart move by Stern. This was a no-brainer, but he could have turned stubborn and kept the new ball for the whole year. A lesson for the Godfather that he needs to consult with players before making a decision affecting the integrity of the game.

I don't think he'll cave on the tech situation, which will resolve itself in the end. With less player histrionics, the need to give out more techs will disappear.
