Watch Lost now and then watch GoT in early 2015. This way GoT will be fresh in your mind when new season starts.
GoT has recency bias. Trust me. Lost is an incredible show.

GOT is a higher quality show, but moves slower IMO and we have no idea if it will also get significantly worse or not until it is over.
