Re: Lebron
2004 - missed playoffs
2005 - missed playoffs despite the East all-star center on his team
2006 - 2nd round elimination
2007 - 2-seeded Cavs beat 1-seeded Pistons to make Finals (lebron averaged 21 on 41% outside of game 5; 25 on 45% overall)..... then 22 on 36% in Finals sweep loss
2008 - 26 on 35% in ecsf loss
2009 - loses with 60-win 1 seed
2010 - loses with 60-win 1 seed (record - no one ever lost with 60-win 1 seed for two straight yrs)
Then said "fck this, I can't handle being such a loser" and teamed up with the #2 and #4 players in PER aka the best forward and shooting guard in the league

Yup. Most of the greats figured out early that sacrificing your stats for team movement and chemistry is the key to success. This has always been my main problem with LeBron he's always been way to ball dominant. That's great for stats but shitty for winning. As dominant as LeBron is he'd have 5 or 6 rings by now if he adopted this philosophy earlier.
And lol at you and space jam just realizing that this is a good thing now after years of arguing that better stats is greater than lesser stats but actually winning

He gets stats naturally he doesn't force them like others
He is getting older and slowing down
Think harder next time please

Re: Lebron
Yeah it makes sense.
AD, Kawhi, Kuzma can play together at a high level for almost a decade. Perfect spot for Kawhi. Lebron will just take a seat back and playmake.

Re: Lebron
Lebron won't sacrifice, because if he begins sacrificing shot attempts, then he sacrifices assists.
Almost all Lebron's assists come from PnR and then drive and kick.
If he was to actually play a successful brand of basketball with AD and Kawhi, he'd have to basically turn into Lamar Odom and put up 18-6-6 or something to that order with good defense.
So no, he won't do that, can't do that, because it would expose his stats as not meaningful.

Yeah he's much better at being ball dominant than say Westbrook or harden. He's way better than both of those guys. He's still too ball dominant though. His teams always have the worst ball movement. Miami wasn't to bad. It's no coincidence that those years were his worst stats wise but best winning wise.
