The shots he is taking are not even difficult shots. He has wide open shots.

Re: Why can
his midrange game is weak so if his 3ball is off, which it always is under playoff pressure, he has nothing to fall back on to "get going"... watch cj mccollum and dame work these midrange fadeaways and long tear drops. thats why theyre so much better.

Mentality for sure. He was out there yesterday missing wide open threes

Re: Why can
It's actually sad
Don't think I've ever seen a player of his "caliber" that drops off so massively in the postseason. It's definitely mental. I wonder if the team has suggested he seek psychiatric help or counseling, there's obviously some mental block there for him

Mental...He's too damn good to be shrinking this damn much in the playoffs
Ben + a 1st round pick for Lowry and Siakam?

Not airballing my layups anymore
Re: Why can
He'll come around. Barry Bonds was a postseason choker, till he wasn't. See also David Price.

Re: Why can
He is a very primitive and low IQ player, who has somehow fooled the NBA into thinking he is some kind of CP3-lite.
Lowry is one of the worst playmaking, floor general, point guards in the league. There is absolutely no higher purpose with his passing and he frequently gets flustered with playoff defense.
His game consists of chucking 3s and attacking the rim of PnR, neither of which he does very well. He is a combo-guard, not a point guard. A worse Kemba Walker.
As many other players, he takes advantage of absent defense in the regular season. Unlike other point guard stars playing a similar game, he has complete tunnel vision and is unable to stop and go or find the open man.
The last thing you want is Lowry with the ball in his hands in the playoffs. He is a bench scorer and should never have been more.
