Was 2013 Game 7 the biggest carry in Finals history?
If you look at Game Score disparity between the #1 option (LeBron) and his next 3 options (Wade) (Bosh) and (Allen) you find the following:
GameScore for Game 7, 2013 NBA Finals
LeBron: 32.5
Wade: 14.8
Bosh: -2.1
Allen: -2.6
Difference: 22.4 (LeBron surpassed the three combined by 22.4)
LeBron had a higher Game Score of 22.4 over the next three options (Wade, Bosh, and Allen) en route to a Finals win. Have we ever seen a bigger carry?
For comparison, Jordan's big 1993, 55-point game he had a Game Score of 38.6
GameScore for Game 4, 1993 NBA Finals
Jordan: 38.6
Pippen: 9.6
Grant: 23.4
Armstrong: 12.3
Difference: -6.7 (Jordan did not surpass the three combined by 6.7)
I'm sure you guys know of big carries in the Finals so let me know so we can find them.
List of Finals carries:
#1 2013 Game 7: Difference: +22.4 LeBron surpassed all three combined by 22.4
#2 1993 Game 4: Difference: -6.7 (Jordan did not surpass the three combined by 6.7)

2nd life performances don't count - Ray gave Lebron 2nd life after he wasn't good enough for 6 games and lost Miami the series
Lebron averaged 16 on 39% thru 3 games and his 23 on 43% was insufficient thru 6, thus needing Ray to force game 7
He was also a net negative for the series and his presence on the floor didn't increase team ORtg much, while Wade's presence was the driving force behind team ortg (see stats in previous post above)

All that means is in the 2013 Finals during the last 4 games LeBron averaged:
32/10/7/3 on 48%
Thanks for playing

That's fine because his 23 on 43% wasn't enough thru 6 games
So Jesus had to give him 2nd life... saved his soul and wiped the slate clean...

I'm sure MJ would've dropped 40 if his back was against the wall in a championship Game 7
but it never happened because MJ crushed all Finals from the outset and didn't need a 7th game - he didn't stink up the joint and then need a teammate to save him like lefraud
MJ never had a 7th game in the Finals, so your stats are apples and oranges

So MJ never had a bigger Finals carry than LeBron

(16 on 39% thru 3 games... 23 on 43% thru 6..... thus needing Ray to force gm 7... Now imagine if he averaged 31 for the first 3 games instead of 16)

We aren't comparing role players, only the top dogs.. no apples and oranges, only apples and apples
And MJ was never a net negative like lebron - lebron' won a Finals where his team lost with him on the floor!!!..
