Orlando needs rim protection and some are saying the Magic should have taken WCS but it wouldn't have helped the Magic in the scoring and spacing department. They needed shooters and space creaters.

Welcome, Mario Hezonja and Tyler Harvey.

This will create plenty of room for Oladipo, Payton, Gordon and the others to play in and both Oladipo and Payton were already attacking the basket, but in a bit more crowded paint. Frye does provide some spacing too, but he's old and has the speed of a parking meter.

I read somewhere that Orlando got two of the best shooters in the draft. I have no idea if that is correct, but they are a welcome addition to a rather poor collection of shooters. They will improve as a team, both offensively and defensively, with the addition of coach Skiles. The coaches they've had over the past 3 years were... ah we'll just leave it there.

Now they just need to find some help in the rim protection department and also need to find solid backup PG, but Magic GM said they will be pretty active in the FA this summer so we'll see.

I heard Luke Ridnour is available if they want him back
